The Chatham Highlander is the only motel within the historic district and is the perfect place to experience the beauty and wonder of Cape Cod. Our motel is located on over two picturesque acres with two heated pools. 

We offer 29 rooms consisting of King rooms, Queen rooms and Standard rooms. We also have two efficiencies, a two-room suite and a 1 bedroom apartment that can accomodate up to 5 people. 

All rooms are non-smoking. Our spacious rooms include individual A/C &  heat, full baths, cable television, compact refrigerator, and direct dial telephone. 

All of our rooms have new carpeting and are very nicely appointed. Six of our rooms have been completely renovated with new bath, carpet and furnishings.

Chatham has long been the favored vacation location for those who seek the excitement of the Atlantic Ocean, the tranquility of Nantucket Sound and the unspoiled beauty of Cape Cod's rich historic tradition. 

Chatham's excellent offering of shops, restaurants and beaches are but a few moments away. Casual Bistro dining is just across the street! 

The new Chatham Bike Trail is now completed and just 0.4 miles from the motel. The trail runs into the Harwich extension and eventually connects to the 22-mile long Cape Cod Bike Trail.

Our Pool
There are two heated swimming pools on the property. The larger pool is 20' x 40' and the smaller pool is 18' x 36'. Tables and chairs sit among our lovely gardens and provide a restful, relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the morning or to unwind after the day's activities.

Our Grounds
Play a game of shuffle board, walk to 6 tennis courts or ride your bike up Heritage Lane to the Chatham Bike Trail. The Chatham Highlander is owner managed with the personal attention, price and standards that ensure your comfort and pleasure!
Guest Information
  • Rates subject to Massachusetts and Chatham Room Occupancy Tax of 9.7%. Rates subject to change.
  • Prices are based on single or double occupancy. A charge of $20.00 per extra person will be added, with prior approval. There is no additional charge for children under the age of 18. A $10 surcharge will be assessed for the addition of a cot to the room.
  • Minimum Length visits are in effect during high season and weekends.
  • Check in time is from 2:00 - 10:00 pm unless otherwise arranged in advance. Check out time is 10:30 am.
  • For the comfort of all guests, rooms are strictly NON-SMOKING. NO PETS; NO BIKES IN ROOMS.
  • Reservations require a deposit of 50% of the total room price and for one night must be prepaid in full.
  • Room deposits can be paid on a major credit card, (MasterCard, Visa, Discover & American Express) or a check must be received within 7 days of making the reservation.
  • BALANCE DUE ON ARRIVAL.
  • Personal checks are not acceptable.
  • Deposits do not include Massachusetts Room Tax.
  • Cancellations must be received in writing 14 days before scheduled arrival in order to obtain a refund less $20.00 processing charge.
  • Deposits will be forfeited if arrival is after the day specified, or departure is before final day of reservation.
