The only Bed and Breakfast in Maine featured in Daughters of Painted Ladies: America’s Resplendent Victorians, Blackberry Inn is a restored Italianate Victorian.

Enjoy the grace and charm of a quieter era in our spacious parlors and dining room with original tin ceilings and fancy plaster moldings. Fireplaces warm our common rooms and several guest rooms in winter; while ceiling fans and air conditioners comfort summer guests.

Each of the 11 unique restored guestrooms at Blackberry Inn has has been individually appointed for your comfort. Many guestrooms have fireplaces and air conditioners. All rooms have private baths, some with a clawfoot tub or shower; some also feature a whirlpool tub.

Breakfast is a special time at Blackberry Inn, a time to socialize and share stories of adventures in Maine (and elsewhere!). 

Room rates range from $80 to $185. Our rates assume double occupancy and include a scrumptious multi-course breakfast each morning, plus afternoon refreshments. Some rooms can accommodate an extra person at a charge of $35 per night. Maine lodging tax (7%) is not included.

Guest Rooms


Victorian

Lovely romantic room tucked away toward the rear of the inn on the second floor. Relax before the fireplace in wing backed stuffed chairs. Antique four poster queen size bed, period furnishings and oriental carpet. Soothing Victorian style bath with clawfoot tub and shower. Seasonal: $150. Quiet Season: $130.

Garden East and South
With an entrance off of our secluded gardens, our Garden Rooms are a tranquil oasis. High ceilings and vintage architectural molding grace each room. Comfy reading chairs invite you to relax before the fireplace or curl up on the king size bed. Enjoy a soothing soak in the whirlpool tub in the luxury bath. Ceiling fans, cable TV, mini refrig and personal coffeemaker too! Seasonal: $185. Quiet Season: $145.
Guest Rooms


Bette Davis

A tribute to a past guest! High ceilings and sunny bay window with a glimpse of Mt. Battie grace this second floor front guestroom. Bright and cheery, with a queen size brass bed, and touches of nostalgia. Air-conditioned. Showered bath. Seasonal: $125. Quiet Season: $105.

Library
Spacious first floor room with the original tin ceiling and parquet floors. Graced by ornately carved and mirrored mantle frame, the fireplace creates a perfect setting to relax on the tufted sofa. A queen size brass bed with custom linens insures a good night’s rest. Showered bath, with hand painted sink. In warm weather, private entrance to garden courtyard. Seasonal: $155. Quiet Season: $130.

Dining

Famous Chefs - Jim & Cyndi
Each morning freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked muffins call our guests to breakfast, and they are greeted by a bountiful table, filled with juice, fresh fruit, coffee and tea, muffins and breads, and hot cereals.

Dine on the Patio
Each morning a different entrée is served, such as Crunchy Apricot French Toast, Herb & Cheese Omelets or Banana Buttermilk Pancakes with a sauce made from berries grown in our own berry patch. Breakfast is a great time! For those wishing to sleep in, we offer a continental breakfast platter served in your room
Directions 
From the south: Take Maine Turnpike north to Exit 9. Follow Interstate 95 north to Exit 24 (Topsham). Take Route 196 East to Route 1. Follow US Route 1 north through Waldoboro, turn left onto Route 90. Follow Route 90 until it ends at the junction of US Route 1 again. Turn left into Route 1 north. We are 1.25 miles up the street on the right

Alternate route: Take Maine Turnpike north until Augusta (Exit 30). Take Rte. 17 east from Augusta toward Rockland until intersection with Rte. 90. Turn left onto 90, follow until it ends at junction of US Rte.1. Turn left onto Rte. I north, we are 1.25 miles up street on right.
 
From the north: Follow US Rte.1 south to Camden. Continue on Rte. 1.  We are one-quarter mile south of the center of Camden, on left-hand side.

Policies
Blackberry Inn is a non-smoking facility. We recommend advance reservations so you won’t be disappointed. Once you have made your booking, we must receive your deposit to guarantee the reservation. Personal checks are preferred but we also accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Check-In Time: Please check-in after 3 p.m. and before 6 p.m. Earlier or later check-ins may be arranged in advance. Please call us.

Cancellations: If you must cancel your reservation and notify us at least two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee. If cancellation is made less than fourteen days in advance of arrival date, we regret that we are unable to give a refund
